Is anyone noticing this on Medium lately? Nobody is home and it’s grating on my nerves because now I have to send letters out more often, in an effort to reach you.
It feels like every other day there’s something new or weird going on behind the scenes, and it’s not very motivating.
Our writing egos demand stroking. It’s the only way we know whether we’re doing this in vain or not, am I right? I talk about it a little in this piece.
Curation and the Ego
I did manage to squeeze out one curation recently but I’m not sure how many readers are searching out the ENVIRONMENT topic. I’m going to try and find out though, because I have a lot more to write about it aside from the one I’ve already written.
It’s times like now when a “revert” button would be the most effective tool we have in providing our species with an entire do-over. I think we’ve kind of done it wrong the first time around.
Humanity Sucks
As I get older and care less about how others see me, I realize I may be getting louder and more disorderly in public settings. It is mostly apparent at work, because that’s the only place I have consistent human contact.
Have you ever noticed that a single person can trigger mass hysteria with one small comment or action?
That Time I Realized I Might be Too Unruly
I’ll drop one more link for you. This one is near the top of my list of January earners. It’s a comparison between average folk like us, and affluent folk - like Medium writers will never be. **joking**
Some People Have Money, Others are Simply Rich
That’s all I’ve got for you right now. Until the next time I grace your inbox with my presence, I’ll just be sitting over here with my alter ego (who has been waiting in the curation cue for a whole eternity). The two of us are trying to reach up each others sleeves and pull out some tricks.
If we find a trick that works, it’ll be included in my next newsletter!
Again, thank you all for being here. I appreciate you!
