It’s not very often we get to celebrate things on a Monday, never mind a Pandemic Monday. Honestly, who even cares what day it is anymore? I slept until 10:30 am yesterday and I’m not ashamed that I watched the entire season 3 of Ozark the night before.
We have something to celebrate today. 101 subscribers! I really wanted to catch it at 100 because it’s a rounder number, but 101 makes it sound more lesson-like. As if I actually have something to teach you besides how to live your best life in sweatpants.
In case you hadn’t read my latest rant, I wrote about how sick I am of reading about the C-word lately. I feel like our news channels are saturated enough, I don’t want to have to read everyone’s speculations about our current situation.
What’s More Fun Than Medium During a Pandemic?
The answer to that, by the way, is literally EVERYTHING.
So, rather than dwell on unwanted advice on how to wash my hands (I only needed to hear that once, thank you), I thought I’d try and help other writers along and create something for you to do. Nobody read it though (insert LOL here).
But if you’re bored, you can check out this writing prompt and do it.
The Introvert’s Treasure Hunt for Writing Inspiration
I don’t know about you all, but in times of boredom…LAUGHTER has been my best medicine, which is why even my rants come across as jokes. This rant is absolutely real but it’ll give you several belly laughs.
It was inspired by the samosa I nearly threw across the room…
Texting Etiquette in this New Era of Isolation
What I want from you now, is to know how you’ve been passing your time? I get that we’re all writing and hopefully reading, but have you been doing anything you always WISHED you had the time for?
What is it?
Jan Flynn shares with us, 5 things she would not have done this week, if not for being on lockdown.
There we go, that was my pay-it-forward moment for the week. I hope you check out her story.
Until the next time I feel inspired to inspire you, HAPPY MONDAY and enjoy your freedom right now! Let’s see if we can buck the Covid-19 curve on Medium and publish some uplifting stories!
Take care guys and gals,
Kristi
"It was inspired by the samosa I nearly threw across the room…"
