I'm not sure both could work at the same time for the same program but it's very interesting that everyone who has replied prefers membership over a course. I thought it would be the exact opposite! Thanks for your feedback 😀
This is absolutely my thinking too. It's just that I've heard so much of the opposite from a lot of course creators. I'm WAY more of a community person myself.
Two years ago, I joined a speaking community at a reasonable monthly price. They offered a lot of good content for free with a huge helpful community. I took advantage of neither and left four months later. I wasn't ready to commit.
Two months ago, I signed up for a two-day workshop that wasn't cheap. Excellent education. Subsequently, I rejoined the community, signed up two more workshops, they offer community members 50% discount. I have also gone through all the free content, some of it more than once.
My takeaway and suggestion based on my experience, provide high value and charge a pretty penny for it. People who really want it don't mind paying for it. Those who are committed, invest in themselves. Provide more than they expect, and the members along with the Universe will see to it that you have more willing members than you'd know what to do.
I prefer A - I've done B before and I never make the most of it. If I choose A I am making a firm decision to do the course, do it soon, learn and implement. I've done option Bs before and still not done the study modules involved...
Interesting, I've done option A a few times and have never finished the courses. But for me, I think it boiled down to I just wasn't that interested AND the course kind of skimmed over important things.
I think that's where community is important. You're able to ask specific questions and succeed as a group and an individual.
These answers are very valuable, thanks for your feedback!
I agree with you where it would have to be something you enjoy and something that gets results. I would expect a person wouldn't be in my community unless they wanted results.
How is Garden of Neuro? Susan invited me to it a while back but I wasn't in the right headspace yet.
I signed up after reading your last comment. Haven't had time to really look around in there but it seems like a rather broad community. I'll have to actually carve out time to find if there's anything appealing to me. Thanks Lisa.
Offer both...I've done both and have had good experiences with them. I hope this helps your friend! Wink wink
Lol she thanks you!

The membership ones I'm in (two of them) are certainly richer than the courses I've done...more of a community than a "one-and-done."

2nd option
Thank you!
B.
Sincerely, your BFF. :-)
Thanks Tina. I appreciate your feedback 😊
B
A for me
Thanks Patricia.

I agree with this. And I also believe people pay more attention to what they pay for or a result they're looking for.

Definitely B . It's less pressure! Lol :)
Thanks for your feedback Robin. I'm very surprised that nearly everyone has chosen the opposite of what I thought they would. I appreciate your help.

Thanks for your feedback. The majority said B and I'm a little surprised!
